About SHREC
The Sam Houston Regional Education Consortium (SHREC) is an ACGME-accredited institutional sponsor housed within the 麻豆天美果冻传媒 College of Osteopathic Medicine (麻豆天美果冻传媒-COM). Established in 2023, SHREC plays a vital role in expanding graduate medical education opportunities throughout East Texas.
Our mission is to support the development, accreditation, and operation of high-quality residency and fellowship programs that serve rural and medically underserved communities. SHREC programs create pathways for physicians to continue their training in Texas, with a strong foundation in primary care and a commitment to service.
