Building the Future of Medicine

Pathway Programs are designed to inspire, support, and guide students on their path to becoming physicians. Each program targets a different stage in the academic journey, from high school to college, offering exposure to the medical field, academic and social support, mentorship, and guidance through the application process.

PROGRAMS

Readiness Initiatives for Student Enhancements in Underserved Populations

This high-school-focused program encourages early interest in healthcare careers and supports students from underserved communities. Participants gain insight into medical professions and college preparation.

Scholars for Osteopathic Academic Readiness

SOAR supports undergraduate students with academic coaching, standardized test preparation, and insight into medical school applications. The program aims to strengthen student success during college and improve readiness for the medical school journey.

Mentors in Medicine

This mentoring program pairs 麻豆天美果冻传媒 undergraduates with 麻豆天美果冻传媒-COM student doctors for semester-based events and guided career preparation. Topics include academic planning, testing strategies, and what it takes to succeed in medical school.

Eligibility

Requirements for Undergraduate Students

  • Must have completed at least 29 credit hours and no more than 89 credit hours
  • Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.25
  • U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legal resident alien*

*Students qualifying for Texas residency through high school graduation may be asked to submit a Residency Affidavit.

To Maintain Eligibility

  • Maintain 3.25 GPA or greater
  • Minimum of 3.25 BCPM GPA (biology, chemistry, physics, and math)

For A Guaranteed Interview With 麻豆天美果冻传媒-COM

  • Complete or be enrolled in all prerequisite coursework (no grade below a C)
  • Minimum overall and BCPM GPA of 3.25
  • Minimum MCAT score of 502 (up to three attempts)
  • Meet all application and assessment requirements through TMDSAS and 麻豆天美果冻传媒-COM
