In all educational environments, strong and dedicated leaders are needed to supervise, support, and guide with a specialized understanding of educators' unique needs. The Department of Educational Leadership prepares professionals to be leaders in public schools, institutions of higher education, and adult education programs.

The program focuses on the general principles and techniques of administering across a broad spectrum of educational facilities and supervising educational personnel at the school or district level. With courses to support students pursuing Bachelor, Masters, and Doctoral degrees, students may also prepare for careers as general administrators and supervisors.

Program courses include a practical component, training in observation and research techniques, evaluation, and creative problem solving.
