Requirements:

1. Must have a minimum USGA handicap of 12 or lower to enter and remain in the PGA Golf Management program. The Sam Houston State PGA Golf Management program requires handicap documentation which can be supplied by one of the following methods:
   1. A copy of current USGA handicap card
   2. Successfully pass the PGA's Playing Ability Test (PAT)
   3. Confirmation of playing ability form filled out by a PGA Professional or High School Golf Coach
2. Be accepted by the Â鶹ÌìÃÀ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Admissions Office.
3. $500 is due by each student upon being accepted into the PGA Golf Management program.

It is highly recommended for any prospective PGA Golf Management student (and family) to visit both Â鶹ÌìÃÀ¹û¶³´«Ã½ and the PGA Golf Management department. 

Transfer Students

Transfer students will be managed on a case-by-case basis. Regardless of how many hours that you transfer into Â鶹ÌìÃÀ¹û¶³´«Ã½, the program will take four and a half years to complete. Approximately 30 hours of completed credit is the maximum to enter into the program. Once a student is over this threshold it would be faster for them to become a PGA Member through the traditional .
