Your journey begins by applying for admission to 麻豆天美果冻传媒. Once admitted, you’ll schedule a meeting with the PGA Golf Management Office to discuss the program and confirm your interest. Students also complete a separate PGA Golf Management application and must verify a 12 handicap or better to be considered for program admission.
Appointments are scheduled through the . Appointments are available Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., and are a great opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the program.
Yes—transfer students are reviewed on a case‑by‑case basis. The program is designed as a freshman‑entry, cohort‑based program, and typically takes four and a half years to complete, regardless of transferred credit hours. Students with approximately 30 or fewer completed credit hours are the strongest candidates. Beyond that threshold, the traditional PGA Apprentice Program may be a faster pathway to PGA Membership.
Internships may be completed at any golf facility under the supervision of a PGA of America Professional. The only exception is when interning at major championship venues—such as the British Open or Ryder Cup—during the year those events are hosted.
Students secure internships through one or more of the following methods:

- A facility or PGA Professional the student is interested in learning from
- Outreach and placement support from the Internship Coordinator

Yes. The PGA of America requires all internships to be paid and compliant with U.S. labor laws. Pay rates vary by location, and some internships also include housing benefits in addition to hourly wages.
The Player Ability Test is a one‑day, 36‑hole playing ability exam required by the PGA of America. Students must meet or beat a Target Score, which is calculated by doubling the course rating and adding 15.
Yes. The PAT costs $100 per attempt, plus course fees (typically up to $50).
Yes. Students may take the PAT at any time prior to enrolling at 麻豆天美果冻传媒. PAT locations and schedules are available through the PGA of America.
Students must attempt the PAT at least once per semester until passing, as required by the PGA of America. Multiple attempts are allowed, and students are encouraged to take additional attempts—especially during summer internships.
Until the PAT is passed:
- Students will be registered for morning classes only, allowing time for afternoon practice and preparation
- Students will be automatically enrolled in the Player Development Program for additional support
Passing the PAT is required to receive the PGA Golf Management specialization at graduation. Students who do not pass will still earn their Bachelor of Business Administration degree, but without the PGA Golf Management designation.
